Privacy Policy — Guidarium

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Guidarium is an independent guide tool for Final Fantasy XIII, published by Baptiste Victor. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Square Enix Co., Ltd.

The short version

Guidarium collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us, because there is nothing on our side that could receive it.

What stays on your device

Your progression — the steps you have completed, the treasures and monsters you have checked, the options you have set — is written to your device's local storage and never leaves it, except through a backup you control (see below). We cannot read it, and there is no way for us to recover it if you delete the app.

What the app sends over the network

One thing only: requests for the guide's images. The app fetches them from our server as you browse. Those requests carry what any web request carries — an IP address, a timestamp, the image path — and our server keeps no database and stores no record of them.

The server holds no user data of any kind. It has no accounts table, because it has no accounts.

Purchases

Guidarium offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks the app's own tools. The game data is free and stays free.

How it is handled depends on where you bought it:

Device backups

If you have your platform's backup enabled (iCloud on Apple devices, Google One on Android), your progression can be included in it, and moved to a new device with it. That backup belongs to you and is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy — not ours. We have no access to it.

Children

The app is a game guide. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

There is no data to request, correct, export, or delete, because we hold none. Deleting the app removes your progression from your device. If you want the backup copy gone as well, delete it in your platform's backup settings.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affected what the app collects would be announced in the app's release notes, but the current answer — nothing — is what the product is designed around.
